What are Twitch Drops?

Twitch Drops are rewards you can earn by watching Hunt: Showdown 1896 streams on Twitch. Watch any Hunt: Showdown 1896 streamer during the Twitch Drops campaign (between August 16^th – 23^th, 2024) to earn free in-game rewards.

When is the campaign running?

The campaign will begin at 3pm UTC on August 16^th, 2024, and will end at 3pm UTC on August 23^th, 2024.

What rewards can I earn in Hunt Twitch Drops?

During the Twitch Drops campaign, between August 16^th – 23^th, 2024, you can earn a new reward each day, along with 3 Supply Crates per day. Each day’s reward will be available for 24 hours before switching to the next one.

Roe Stalker (Knife):

August 16^th, 2024

Watch any participating Hunt: Showdown 1896 streamer from 3pm UTC, August 16^th to 3pm UTC, August 17^th for 240 minutes to unlock Roe Stalker (Knife).
If you already own Roe Stalker (Knife), then you will unlock a random Skin from a predetermined list of similar Skins.
If you already own all the Skins from the predetermined list, then you will receive 5,000 Hunt Dollars.

Hera’s Gift (Charm):

August 17^th, 2024

Watch any participating Hunt: Showdown 1896 streamer from 3pm UTC, August 17^th to 3pm UTC, August 18^th for 240 minutes to unlock Hera’s Gift (Charm).

If you already own Hera’s Gift (Charm), then you will unlock a random Charm from a predetermined list of similar Charms.

If you already own all the Charms from the predetermined list, then you will receive 5,000 Hunt Dollars.

Alley Cat (Bornheim No. 3):

August 18^th, 2024

Watch any participating Hunt: Showdown 1896 streamer from 3pm UTC, August 18^th to 3pm UTC, August 19^th for 240 minutes to unlock Alley Cat (Bornheim No. 3).

If you already own Alley Cat (Bornheim No. 3), then you will unlock a random Skin from a predetermined list of similar Skins.

If you already own all the Skins from the predetermined list, then you will receive 5,000 Hunt Dollars.

Moondial (Charm):

August 19^th, 2024

Watch any participating Hunt: Showdown 1896 streamer from 3pm UTC, August 19^th to 3pm UTC, August 20 ^th for 240 minutes to unlock Moondial (Weapon Charm).

If you already own the Moondial (Weapon Charm), then you will unlock a random Weapon Charm from a predetermined list of similar Charms.

If you already own all the Weapon Charms from the predetermined list, then you will receive 5,000 Hunt Dollars.

Storied Past (Quad Derringer):

August 20^th, 2024

Watch any participating Hunt: Showdown 1896 streamer from 3pm UTC, August 20^th to 3pm UTC, July 21^th for 240 minutes to unlock Storied Past (Quad Derringer).

If you already own Storied Past (Quad Derringer), then you will unlock a random Skin from a predetermined list of similar Skins.

If you already own all the Skins from the predetermined list, then you will receive 5,000 Hunt Dollars.

Swallow’s Tail (Centennial):

August 21^th, 2024

Watch any participating Hunt: Showdown 1896 streamer from 3pm UTC, August 21^th to 3pm UTC, August 22^th for 240 minutes to unlock Swallow’s Tail (Centennial).

If you already own Swallow’s Tail (Centennial), then you will unlock a random Skin from a predetermined list of similar Skins.

If you already own all the Skins from the predetermined list, then you will receive 5,000 Hunt Dollars.

Random Hunter:

August 22^th, 2024

Watch any participating Hunt: Showdown 1896 streamer from 3pm UTC, August 22^th to 3pm UTC, August 23^th for 240 minutes to permanently unlock a random Hunter.

Previous Twitch Drops Hunters will have priority. If you are missing one from this list, then you will unlock one of the following:

Lulu
Kill Buyer
Billy Story
Steel Eyed
The Infected
Umpire’s Bane

If you already own all previous Twitch Drops Hunters, then you will unlock a random Hunter from the list of Blood Bond Hunters. There is also a very small chance you will unlock Bad Hand.

If you already own all previous Twitch Drops and Blood Bond Hunters, then you will receive 10,000 Hunt Dollars.

Supply Crates:

Like our previous Drops campaigns, we are bringing back the Supply Crates. These Crates will grant you several in-game item instances, such as Weapons, Tools, Consumables, and a random amount of Hunt Dollars.

Watch any participating Hunt: Showdown 1896 streamer to gain up to 3 Supply Crates each day of the campaign. Like the other rewards, the reward day will change over at 3pm UTC.
Each Crate will contain these 8 item instances:
1. 1 x Random Rifle
2. 1 x Random Pistol
3. 1 x Random Shotgun
4. 1 x Random Special Weapon
5. 3 x Random Tool or Consumable
6. 1 x Random amount of Hunt Dollars

Note: Please note, you will not receive any physical “Crate” in-game for these Drops rewards. Once a “Crate” has been claimed through Twitch, all the above items will be rewarded as individual pop-ups in the game (as with any other reward). The Supply Crates are just names and visuals given to symbolize being granted a stash of items and is only displayed in this way on the Drops page on Twitch.

What is the process to link my game account and Twitch account?

Click the button Link Account on the Twitch Drops Hunt: Showdown page.
Select which platform you want to link: Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox.
Log in to your game account to verify that you are the owner.
Authorize your Twitch account to allow Hunt: Showdown 1896 permission to access some information related to your Twitch account. Please confirm you are using the correct Twitch account before proceeding.
Once authorized, you will be redirected to the Hunt: Showdown 1896 Twitch Drops page where you can confirm the account is connected.

Do I always need to be logged in to the game?

No, you do not need to have the game open while watching. However, to earn the rewards, you must be using the correct Twitch account when watching Hunt: Showdown 1896 streamers. If you are not logged in, you will not accumulate time towards the Drops’ progress, and you won't receive rewards.

You can check the progress you’re making at the Twitch Drops Inventory page. Once a reward has been claimed through the Drops page on Twitch, the unlock pop-up will appear in-game upon your next login.

What can I do if linking my Twitch account fails?

The most common cause of a failed account connection is that one or more of your accounts may already be linked. You can check the current Twitch connections by logging into your Twitch account, select “Settings” and then the “Connections” tab. This will display a list of the accounts that are connected and will allow you to add or remove connections as you wish.

If you encounter further issues with account linking, please contact customer support.

Note: Our customer support team is unable to add, remove, or otherwise alter any link between your Twitch account and any other service. The team will be happy to provide support and guidance on how to correctly link your account, but please be aware they cannot make any direct changes to the linked accounts.

I linked my account last year; do I need to re-link my account?

Your account link should carry over from the last Twitch Drops campaign, however we highly recommend checking your connection status through the Twitch Drops campaign page and on www.huntshowdown.com/twitchdrops.

Make sure to double check both pages to make sure you do not miss any of the rewards.

Which streamers can I watch during the campaign?

All Twitch streamers are eligible to participate in this Twitch Drops campaign. Streamers must ensure they have enabled Drops on their account and are actively streaming in the Hunt: Showdown 1896 category. You can check out the Hunt Twitch directory to find participating streams.

I claimed the Drops reward through Twitch, but it’s not appearing in-game. Why?

First, you will need to make sure you have claimed the item through the Drops reward page:

Next, you will need to make sure you have also linked your account through our Drops page here: www.huntshowdown.com/twitchdrops.
