We had 50 amazing entries for our grunt audio contest, showing off a variety of monster groans and growls ranging from “rabid animal" to “Sméagol." The judges had a great time listening to them all, as you can see in the reaction video.

But there can only be one winner. And that winner is…Brandon_Brandoff! You can view his entry again over here.

“We really liked the clear language and the escalation arc," said Crytek Audio Director Florian Füsslin of Brandon's performance. “It starts with curiosity and then grows into full-out anger once the player is down. In addition, there is a very strong level of detail in the audio, for example like featuring the tongue hanging out and an overall good sync between the acting and the visuals. Well done, Sir :)"

Brandon will receive a Hunt t-shirt, a poster, and will be featured in a special video. As a special thank you for participating, Brandon and all of the other finalists will receive a key for Closed Alpha testing this winter.

But that's not all. We wanted to reward one more participant with an Alpha key *reaches into hat of participant names and pulls one out* and that winner is PsychoghostGaming. Just kidding. We didn't pick that name out of a hat. We picked it because PsychoghostGaming made such a detailed video of their recording session (watch it here), and we wanted to reward that too.
